Middle Eastern politics are complex, contradictory, and painful. These hot takes that equate mid-20th century zionism and the founding of the Israeli state with, e.g., the genocidal violence against Native Americans, without any thought to the Shoah or, you know, fundamental historical differences and contexts, are really beyond the pale, though. If Hamas really is your idea of emancipatory decolonization, miss me with that and unfollow (and block) me to save me some time, please.

There are a lot of people who are being very clear that the revolution they seek looks like this.

That is, for those who even see Palestinians and Israelis as real human beings and not characters in a TV show from which those of us who actually exist can draw moral lessons.

There are a lot of people very ready and eager to defend actions that they find literally unspeakable.

These people cannot say the actions they are endorsing because these are thought experiments to them: Theoretical people with Theoretical suffering in a Theoretical paradigm.

None of the people suffering, being shot next to their baby who is left abandoned, those cowering and crying in bomb shelters, opening the door for who they think to be their protector only to be massacred, kidnapped women and children... They considser none of them real, which is why they can be so casually condemned to these unspeakable horrors.

Those so devoid of humanity deserve pity, but not given credence or further consideration.

Our time and energy is best spent on those who are not so ready to abandon their humanity.

it's the opposite

Jews (Yehudim) are from Judea (Yehuda)
Arabs are from Arabia

The Arabs colonized this land. #zionism is the world's most successful #indigenous #autoemancipation movement. This BTW is the essence of why certain far-left progressives hate #Israel, because it puts the lie to their vision of a racialized moral heirarchy

I do believe for you it is important to only start looking at the problem only after the Shoah and after the British gifted their Palestinian Colony of White Supremacy Power to the Zionists.

But I believe the problems started already in the 19th century and not just after WWII and the establishment of the Jewish Colony!

Please look closely:
Politically and culturally, the memory of the Holocaust plays a crucial role in the identity of Israelis. But let’s be clear; political Zionism is “Holocaust-related” in a similar way to how Nazism is “Holocaust-related”. Theodor Herzl, the founder of Zionism, is quoted as saying, “If whole branches of Jews must be destroyed, it is worth it, as long as a Jewish state in Palestine is created.”<br>We now know that, in its zeal to propagandize its ideology claiming Jews worldwide have a right to a state, the world Zionist movement did little to help save European Jewry from the Nazis, going so far as to offer, in 1941, “to take an active part in the war on Germany’s side.”
The world really needs to understand the role of white supremacist Herzl and his Zionists:
It is essential that the sufferings of Jews become worse. This will assist in realization of our plans. I have an excellent plan. I shall induce anti-semites to liquidate Jewish wealth. The anti-semites will assist us thereby in that they will strenghten the persecution and oppression of Jews. The anti-semites shall be our best friends.' -- Theodor Herzl In his diaries

If you would look at the beginnings of Zionism and all the Zionist individuals as well as the supposed "Father" of Zionism, white(!) Austrian German Jew Theodor Herzl, then you will find lots of those white European Zionist Jews heftily involved with Racism, Colonialism and SlaveTrade profiteering!

White Austrian German Zionist Herzl was friends with many of notorious Racists and requested help even from Colonialists like Cecil Rhodes who killed Millions of Africans:
His diary includes the text of a letter Herzl wrote to Cecil Rhodes, shortly after the infamous Briton had colonized the land of the Shona people in Africa – whose land he claimed and renamed Rhodesia. “You are being invited to help make history,” Herzl wrote to Rhodes. “[I]t doesn’t involve Africa, but a piece of Asia Minor; not Englishmen but Jews… How, then, do I happen to turn to you since this is an out-of-the-way matter for you? How indeed? Because it is something colonial… [Y]ou, Mr. Rhodes, are a visionary politician or a practical visionary… I want you to.. put the stamp of your authority on the Zionist plan and to make the following declaration to a few people who swear by you: I, Rhodes have examined this plan and found it correct and practicable. It is a plan full of culture, excellent for the group of people for whom it is directly designed, and quite good for England, for Greater Britain…."

From the first official big talks of Herzl in the first Zionist Congress in 1897 to the 6th Congress in 1903, Herzl was clearly talking about establishing Israel as a stolen Colonial(!) State in Argentina or Palestine or Uganda, after ethnically cleansing the land using any means necessary!

Here is an example of the white supremacist racist colonialist Zionist Herzl's own words:
"If we move into a region where there are wild animals to which Jews are not accustomed —big snakes etc. — I shall use the natives, prior to giving them employment in the transit countries /read: expulsion', for the extermination of these animals."<br>Theodore Herzl from his unpublished diary

Herzl proposed two possible regions for settlement – Argentina and Palestine – but recognized in "Der Judenstaat" that colonization in either would be difficult: "In both countries important experiments in colonization have been made, though on the mistaken principle of a gradual infiltration of Jews. An infiltration is bound to end badly. It continues till the inevitable moment when the native population feels itself threatened, and forces the government to stop a further influx of Jews. Immigration is consequently futile unless we have the sovereign right to continue such immigration."

For that reason, Herzl, both in "Der Judenstaat" and in his political activity on behalf of Zionism, concentrated his efforts on securing official legal sanction from, as he put it, "the present masters of the land, putting itself under the protectorate of the European Powers, if they prove friendly to the plan." Attempts to negotiate with the Ottoman authorities failed, but with the collapse of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I and the subsequent creation of Mandatory Palestine under the control of Britain, the Zionists gained success: Britain issued the Balfour Declaration that supported the creation of a Jewish Colonial State in Palestine.

Herzl died in 1904, but his idea of Zionism and the use of JewHaters, AntiSemites to further the Zionists cause continued and with the murder of 6 Million Jews by the white German HerrenMenschen, almost all Jewish opposition to Zionism has vanished too.

Israel doesn't like these things to be discussed and tries to hide the sources. But even with all that Israeli might of their IT, it is difficult to keep even embarrassing things deleted in the Internet. 😉
